What is LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme?
LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme 2026 for students belonging to the economically weaker sections, for pursuing higher studies. The scholarship is to be awarded for students studying in India in a Government or Private college/university. Only online applications are to be submitted through the link on the home page of LIC website. Last date of application is 30th September 2026.
Eligibility of LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme
Candidates who meet following criteria are eligible to apply for scholarship.
General Scholarship [After Class 12th/Diploma]:
1. All candidates who have passed Class XII exam (or its equivalent) with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA grade in the Academic Year 2023-24/2024-25/2025-26, and
2. Have taken admission in the academic year 2026-27 for pursuing first year degree course in the field of Medicine (MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, BDS), Engineering (BE, BTECH, BArch), Graduation in any discipline, Integrated Courses, Diploma Course in any field or other equivalent courses, Vocational Courses through Governmentrecognized Colleges /Institutes or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs), and
3. Have parents/guardian with an annual income (from all sources) not exceeding Rs.4,50,000/- per annum.
Special Scholarship [After Class 10th]:
1. All Candidates who have passed Class X exam (or its equivalent) with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA grade in the Academic Year 2023-24/2024-25/2025-26, and
2. Have taken admission in the academic year 2026-27 for pursuing higher studies in the first year of Intermediate/10 + 2 pattern/ Vocational or Diploma Courses through Government recognized colleges/ institutions or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI), and
3. Have parents/guardian with an annual income (from all sources) not exceeding Rs. 4,50,000/- per annum.
Amount of LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship Scheme
General Scholarship [ After Class 12th / Diploma]:
a) An amount of Rs.50,000/- per annum, will be awarded to the selected Scholar who pursues higher education in the field of Medicine (MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, BDS) and shall be payable every year in two instalments Rs.25000/- each during the duration of the course, subject to eligibility.
b) An amount of Rs.40,000/- per annum, will be awarded to the selected Scholar who pursues higher education in the field of Engineering (BE, BTECH, BArch) and shall be payable every year in two instalments of Rs.20000/- each during the duration of the course, subject to eligibility.
c) An amount of Rs.20,000/- per annum will be awarded to the selected Scholars who pursues education in the field of Graduation in any discipline, Integrated Courses, Diploma Course in any field or other equivalent courses, Vocational Courses through Government recognized Colleges /Institutes or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) and shall be payable every year in two instalments of Rs.10000/- each during the duration of the course, subject to eligibility.
Special Scholarship [After Class 10th]:
An amount of Rs. 15,000/- per annum will be awarded to the selected candidate, after class 10th for pursuing higher studies in Intermediate/10 + 2 pattern/ Vocational or Diploma Courses through Government recognized colleges/ institutions or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) and shall be payable every year in two instalments of Rs.7500/- each during the duration of the course, subject to eligibility.

Only online applications are to be submitted through the link on the home page at https://licindia.in. After submitting the online application, the candidate will receive an acknowledgement email at the email address provided in the application. The Divisional Office of LIC mentioned in the acknowledgement email will handle any further correspondence.
