Objective

The scheme was instituted by the Govt. of India to provide financial assistance to the SC/OBC students studying at post matriculation stage to enable them to complete their education.

Eligibility

For SC Students :
The students whose parents/guardians annual income is Rs. 2.50 lac or below are eligible to apply for SC Post Matric Scholarship.

For OBC Students :
This scheme provides a stipend and reimbursement of tuition fee and examination fee to those BC students whose parent’s/guardian’s annual income from all sources is Rs. 1,50,000/-

Rate of Stipend

For SC :
Rate of Stipend is as under –

UG PG
Day Scholar Rs. 300/- p.m. for 10 months for fresh for 12 months for renewal Rs. 520/- p.m. for 10 months for fresh for 12 months for renewal
Hosteller Rs. 570- p.m. for 10 months for fresh for 12 months for renewal Rs. 820/- p.m. for 10 months for fresh for 12 months for renewal

For OBC :
Only maintenance allowance as per rates given below –

UG PG
Day Scholar Rs. 210/- p.m. for 10 months for fresh for 12 months for renewal Rs. 335/- p.m. for 10 months for fresh for 12 months for renewal
Hosteller Rs. 400- p.m. for 10 months for fresh for 12 months for renewal Rs. 510- p.m. for 10 months for fresh for 12 months for renewal

How to Apply?

Students of Govt./Aided Colleges need not to register. Their Login Password already generated and will be shared through SMS, whereas Students of other colleges needs to register fresh.

Just follow the below step to apply online for Post Matric Scholarship 2019-20.

Steps :
Step 1 : Visit the official website of Online Scholarship Portal for Higher Education Department through the URL provided below.

Apply Online : https://www.highereduhry.ac.in/

Step 2 : Next, click on the “New Student Registration” link.

Step 3 : Fill the registration form with the following details and click on “Register” button
** Enter the Student Name
** Enter Your Father Name
** Enter Your DOB
** Select Your Gender
** Enter Your Mobile No.
** Enter Your Email Id
** Enter Your Aadhar No
** Select Your Institute Category
** Select Your Institute Type
** Select Your Institute
** Select Your Caste

Step 4 : After complete your registration, Login with your user name and password

Step 5 : After that fill the application form with the required details and upload the necessary documents.
Step 6 : Finally click on “Submit” button to complete your application.

Note :
If Your College is not shown in Institute list, Your College is not Registered/Approved on Scholarship portal. kindly contact with your College/University.
