Goprep Talent Search Examination (GTSE) is a talent search-cum scholarship exam to recognize India’s top 1000 students and reward them with a scholarship for higher education and prizes.

Eligibility

Students studying in Classes 8th to 12th are eligible. They can be studying in schools affiliated with any State, Central or International board.
Note : Each class will have a different exam paper

How Can I Participate?

GTSE is completely Online. Take the test from the comfort and safety of your home. GTSE is being held in 2 rounds

Exam Details

It is an online-based exam on a national level in which students of Classes 8th to 12th from any State, Central or International Board participate. GTSE is a two-stage talent search competition which tests the students’ proficiency in subjects taught in previous classes.

After clearing the first round, the top 1000 students receive a scholarship and are eligible to participate in the second round. Altogether, Goprep is a great platform for students to be holistically involved in learning and be active.

Test Pattern

a. For Classes 8, 9th and 10th :
** Objective type paper
** Total questions – 50
** Maths – 15
** Science – 15
** General Aptitude – 20
** Each question will be of 2 marks, Total marks will be 100.
** No negative marketing.
** Total duration – 60 mins

b. For Class 11th and 12th : JEE Aspirants
** Objective type paper
** Total questions – 50
** Physics – 10
** Chemistry – 10
** Mathematics – 10
** General Aptitude – 20
** Each question will be of 2 marks, Total marks will be 100.
** No negative marking.
** Total duration – 60 mins

c. For Class 11th and 12th : NEET Aspirants
** Objective type paper
** Total questions – 50
** Physics – 10
** Chemistry – 10
** Botany and Zoology- 10
** General Aptitude – 20
** Each question will be of 2 marks, Total marks will be 100.
** No negative marking.
** Total duration – 60 mins

GTSE Prizes & Result

Goprep announces the GTSE result for both the stages separately on its official website. The top 1000 students who qualify in the first stage will receive a scholarship for higher studies and prizes.

GTSE Syllabus & Exam Pattern

Students appearing for the upcoming talent search competition must prepare themselves in accordance with the exam pattern and syllabus mentioned below.

For Class 8 to 10 :
There are 3 sections in the exam- Maths, Science & General Aptitude. A total of 50 questions are asked; each question carries 2 marks. Questions will be from the syllabus of your previous class.

For Class 11 to 12 :
There are 4 sections in the exam- Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (for JEE aspirants)/Biology(for NEET aspirants), and General Aptitude. A total of 50 questions are asked; each question carries 2 marks.

FAQs

1. How much is the registration fee for GTSE ?
The registration is completely FREE.

2. How do I select the slot ?
Students can give the exam in any one of the 4 slots as per his/her convenience on 4th or 5th April 2020.

3. Can I give the test on my Desktop ?
GTSE can be taken on both App and Desktop. Device switching won’t be possible during the test.

4. What happens in case I am unable to take the exam in my selected slot?
If you are unable to take the exam in the chosen slot, you will be given another attempt in any of the future available slots to take the exam.

5. When will the results of GTSE be announced?
** The results of Stage 1 will be announced on 8th April 2020 at 9pm IST.
** The results of Stage 2 will be announced on 12th April 2020 at 9pm IST.

  • How should I change my class after registration ,because by mistakely I gave recent class as 8th but I am in class 9th.Or I shall login it with my parent's email id.

  • I have cleared GTSE round 2, and I am selected in India's super 1000. To collect my scholarship, I need to give the Id proof of my school, I have not recieved my id card this year. So can I submit previous year id card??

  • So I had given the exam conducted by goprep on 4th April but didn't get any result on 8th of April utterly disappointed.

  • you could attempt it on nights as there are 4 slots. if you missed it , you must be waiting for future options
