Art Students Scholarship 2015-16:
Rules for Award of Scholarships To Art Students:
Art Students Scholarship will be awarded to the deserving Kerala-born art students undergoing regular course in Government institutions and Government recognised institutions or Universities, for M.F.A./M.V.A., B.F.A./B.V.A. in Painting/Sculpture/Graphics whose conduct, character and work are reported to be satisfactory by the Head of Institution concerned. This will be a merit Scholarship.
The amount and number of Scholarship will be as follows:-
1. M.F.A./M.V.A. – Rs. 6,000/- each to 6 students (either in Painting, Sculpture, Graphics)
2. B.F.A./B.V.A. – Rs. 5,000/- each to 5 students (either in Painting, Sculpture, Graphics)
I. The duration of the scholarship will be one academic year. Only the Final year (2015-2016) students of the above mentioned courses are eligible for the Scholarship.
II. Application for Scholarship should be submitted along with the certificate from the Head of Institution.
III. The applicant should certify that he/she is not in receipt of any other Scholarship.
IV. Along with the application, the student should submit 10 colour photographs (any convenient size) of their works with certificate on the reverse of the works/photographs from the Head of Department/Institution to the effect that these works are actually done by him/her. The application should also contain the specific opinion regarding the class of work and conduct of the applicant from the teacher of the concerned Department.
V. Application with all enclosures should reach the ‘Secretary, Kerala Lalithakala Akademi, Thrissur – 20’ on or before 10.08.2015.
