SW SC Post-Matric Scholarship
SC Students Can Apply For Post-Matric Scholarship Fresh/Renewal for the year 2019-20.
Who Can Apply?
(i) The scholarships are open to nationals of India.
(ii) These scholarships will be given for the study of all recognized post-matriculation or post-secondary courses pursued in recognized institutions with the following exceptions
“Scholarships are not awarded for training courses like Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Courses and Private Pilot license Courses. Courses at Training – Ship Dufferin (Now Rajendra), courses of training at the Military College, Dehradun, courses at Pre-examination Training Centres of all India and State levels.”
(iii) Students who, after having completed their educational career in one professional line, e.g. L.L.B. after B.T./B.Ed. will not be eligible.
(iv) Students studying in Class XI of the Higher Secondary School courses of the XII Class of the Multipurpose High School will not be eligible for it being a continuous school course.
(v) All children of the same parents/guardians will be entitled to receive benefits of the scheme.
How to Apply?
Just follow the below steps to apply for the SC Post-Matric Scholarship 2019-20.
New Application
Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the official website of Karnataka Social Welfare Department through the URL https://sw.kar.nic.in/Index.aspx
Step 2 : Then click on the “SC : Post Matric Scholarship Fresh/Renewal” link under NEWS & EVENTS
Step 3 : It will redirect to the Scholarship Management Information System. Here already registered user can directly enter your Registration No and Date of Birth for Login.
Step 4 : After Login to your account fill the required details to complete the scholarship application.
Step 5 : If you are a new user then click on the “Fresh Registration By Student” link under Student Entry
Step 6 : Please Provide your Aadhaar Details for Direct Benefit Transfer. Follow the steps
** Enter your Aadhaar Number (As in Aadhaar) in the space provided
** Enter your Aadhaar Name (As in Aadhaar) in the space provided
** Select your Gender (Male/ Female/ Transgender)
** Check/Tick the ‘Declaration’ box (I hereby give my consent to Social Welfare Department,……….)
** Finally hit the ‘Seed’ button.
Step 7 : Then fill the remaining details and finally click on “Submit” button to complete the scholarship application.
Note : Only hostel students apply for renewal.
Edit Provisional Number
To edit your filled application, follow below steps
Steps :
Step 1 : Go to the following link [https://sw.kar.nic.in/sw1/Edit_Provisional_Number.aspx]
Step 2 : Enter your provisional Registration No
Step 3 : Enter your DOB in the format of dd/mm/yyyy
Step 4 : Click on the “Edit” button
Print Registration Form
After completing your Application you can print your Registration form. Follow the below steps to print your Acknowledgement for registration
Steps :

Step 2 : Enter your Provisional Registration No [11111]
Step 3 : Press the “Submit Reg No” button
Value Of Scholarship
The value of scholarship includes the following for complete duration of the course
(i) maintenance allowance,
(ii) reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees,
(iii) study tour charges,
(iv) thesis typing/printing charges for Research Scholars,
(v) book allowance for students pursuing correspondence courses,
(vi) book bank facility for specified courses, and
(vii) additional allowance for students with disabilities, for the complete duration of the course.

I have applied for M.Com SC Scholarship, when I checked the scholarship application status, it is showing Annual Income Rs. 25000/-(it is Old), My new Annual Income certificate is Rs. 63000/-. Accordingly I filled the form and submitted the hard copies along with relevant marks cards, Cast & Income Certificate (Rs. 63000/-) etc to the college.
