Higher Education Loan Scholarship 2015-16 :

Popular Front of India announces Loan scholarship program 2015. This scholarship scheme is for poor and meritorious students who wish to pursue higher studies after completing Higher Secondary (12th).

Applications are invited from students who are pursuing their course in the academic year 2015-16. It’s is the fifth consecutive year Popular front is implementing this national scholarship scheme for higher education.

The scholarship is an interest-free loan to the students. Students must refund the scholarship in easy installments when they join a job or after two years from the completion of the course, which is earlier. Scholarship grant to the community to be recycled for further benefit of maximum number of students.

The scholarship is open to the students who are meritorious but financially needy and have passed (10+2) examination and are desirous to pursue Degree, Diploma Courses or other higher studies whose course duration is not less than a year. Students pursuing PG courses are also eligible.

Application can be filled online on www.popularfrontindia.org or downloaded application can be send to Popular Front of India national quarters. Application can also be mailed to popularfrontscholarship@gmail.com. The last date for the receipt of application is 15th Aug 2015.

Eligibility:

** Academically meritorious and financially needy students to pursue Degree orDiploma Courses or other higher studies after Higher Secondary schooling.
** Students pursuing Postgraduate courses are also eligible.
** Priority will be given to Law and Journalism courses.

1.Copy of address proof document
2.Copy of the 12th examination mark sheet and certificate
3.Copy of other qualifying examination mark list, if any
4.Copy of admission letter
5.Two passport size photographs (35mm x 35mm)
6.Students bank account details xerox copy

1.Course certificate from the institution
2.Mark list of the previous year
3.Two passport size photographs (35mm x 35mm)
4.Students bank account details xerox copy

Note:
** 15th August is the last date to send applications.
** Shortlisted students will be contacted for personal interview in August/September..
** Scholarship will be distributed in two instalments (Tentatively September and in December).

An agreement in stamp paper of Rs.10 must be signed by each student and counter signed by two community leaders or our Organizational leaders in the area as guarantors.
