GOKDOM Vidyasiri Application
Applications are invited for incentive from Students belonging to minorities under Vidyasiri scheme for the year 2019-20.

Vidyasiri Scheme for Minority students studying in Post-Matric Courses/PUC upto Ph.D.level in Government/Aided/Un-Aided institutions across the State who are not provided with Hostels facilities.
Who Can Apply?
** Students should be a domicile of Karnataka State.
** Students annual family income should be less than Rs.2.00 lakh.
** Category 1 and converted Christian Minority students family income should be less than Rs.2.50 lakh.
** Students should be from rural areas and distance between college and their residence should be more than 5km.
** The students should have passed their previous year’s examination without any backlog.
** Students residing in BBMP, Town Municipal and Corporation limits are not eligible under this scheme.
** Students staying in Hostels/Paying Guests (PG) Houses or any other accommodation are also eligible for this benefit.
** Selected students will get an amount of Rs.1.500 per month for period of 10 months (max Rs.15,000) during their study period.
How to Apply?
Applications are invited from interested and eligible students follow the below steps to apply for the Vidyasiri Incentive.
Steps :
Step 1 : Download prescribed Application Form from our official Website gokdom.kar.nic.in or from District Office, Minority Welfare Department/Backward Classes Dept.
Step 2 : Fill the Application Form with the required details and Attach the below mentioned documents.

Step 3 : Submit the completed Application form along with necessary documents to District office, Minority Welfare Department/Backward Classes Dept of respective districts where college is located.

I need to know whether my application is accepted (or) not.
I am from Assam. My application ID is AS201718002326106 and applied on 11-8-2017, but I yet have not received scholarship (NSP). What happened? Please let me know.
Last year, this scholarship form submission date was till October 31, but this year why so early it is closed some University will release the results late so if it will be extended to till October 31, it will be really helpful for the students who are staying in hostel and studying.
