Andhra Brahmin Bharati Scheme

Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation (ABC) is inviting application for “Bharati Scheme for Education” (BSE) for the year 2019-20 for the Brahmin students of Andhra Pradesh.

Scope :
This scheme is applicable for Brahmin students of Andhra Pradesh covering all 13 districts, who are studying from 1st standard to Post Graduation in the academic year 2019-20, as per the eligibility criteria provided in the Annexure.

Eligibility

** The student and his/her parents should belong to Brahmin community and parents should reside in Andhra Pradesh.
** Annual Family income of Parents / Guardian should not be more than Rs. 3,00,000/- (Rupees Three lakhs only).

** Should be pursuing a regular course in School / College/ Institute / University for the year 2019-20, in Andhra Pradsh.
** Should have passed in all the subjects till previous year of study (i.e., students who do not have backlogs in their previous semesters / years are only eligible).

** Should not have availed himself/ herself any amount under any other Government scheme for the same purpose.
** However, students availing benefit from Archaka Welfare Trust are eligible under this scheme, in addition to the assistance they get under Archaka Welfare Trust.
** Detailed Course wise Financial Assistance and eligibility criteria is provided as Annexure to this document

Application Procedure

Eligible candidates shall fill their application online (andhrabrahmin.ap.gov.in) only in the prescribed format.

Step-1 : Go to the below link

Step-2 : Click on the ‘Registration’ link.

Step-3 : Fill the online form with required details.

Step-4 : Upload the scanned copy of documents and submit the button.

Documents Required

Applicant should upload the scanned copies (in pdf of maximum 250 kb size each) of the following document

** Aadhar Cards of both student and parent / guardian in one pdf file.
** Caste certificate and Income certificates issued by competent authority or an integrated certificate (Caste, Income and Residence) issued by Mee-Seva, in the name of the student, in one pdf file.

** Marks Sheets of all the previous years (starting from SSC).
** Study Certificate from School / College / Institute / University for the Academic Year 2019-20

** Bank Account Pass book in the name of the applicant (Account should be in Andhra bank or SBI. However, for students studying outside Andhra Pradesh account in any Nationalised Bank is acceptable)
** Passport size photograph of the student (in jpeg format upto a max of 50KB size)

Selection Process

Shortlisting and finalisation of applicants shall be done by the State Level

Selection Committee (SLSC), giving priority to the following categories:
** Orphan
** Single mother
** Physically challenged
** Girl student
** Economically very poor

One time financial assistance of specified amount (details provided in the annexure) will be credited online to the SB Accounts of selected students.

Scheme Schedule

** I class to Intermediate and equivalent – 15th Aug 2019 to 31st Oct. 2019
** For other classes – 1st Sept. 2019 to 31st Oct 2019

  • sir,i have been taken scholarship for two years intermediate course,i.e. academic years of 2017-18 & 2018-19,..presently i joined in medical course@BPT in the academic year of 2019-20,..but, i got bonafied certificate on 13-02-2020 for 1st year course, shall i apply now for scholarship for the academic year of 2019-20? my regd. no is: 61550,...date of birth:08.12.2001

    RENEWAL NOT ACCEPTED.KINDLY GIVE SOLUTION AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE.

  • I am a member of Bharati scheme. Now I am studying MBA 1st year. There is an internet problems in my village. So please extend the last date of application. Last time, 30 days were given for upload, but this time there is only 3 days for uploading. So please accept our request and extend the date.

  • According to Andhra University norms, MCA 1/2 semester will be going to held in the month of July so after 3 months, University will release the result. I had passed 1/1 semester with 78℅ but the date which you kept on website, Andhra university will not release the result. So I can upload only 1st semester mark list and study certificate. Am I eligible or not for the scholarship?
