Global Aptitude Assessment Test 2015:
The only scholarship test for general aptitude for middle and high school (grades 4 to 12)

Background and Objective:

General Aptitude is a measure of various separate intelligences, such as spatial relations, verbal reasoning, numerical reasoning, mechanical reasoning, figure recognition etc. This is increasingly recognized as an area of focus by teachers and parents and also by the CBSE board which has introduced PSA (Problem solving Assessment) as a subject in high school and also conducts the Student’s Global Aptitude Index (SGAI) test for Grade 10 students. With this perspective, GenNxt endeavors to help students understand the importance of Aptitude as an application of their academic knowledge in real life situations and start at an early stage from primary / middle school itself to get completely familiar with this subject area. The Global Aptitude Assessment Test (GAAT) is designed in collaboration with the International Association of Aptitude Testers (IAAT), for school students of Primary, Middle and High school. Over 1.4Mn students across the world have already taken this test and received insights into different areas of their own competence. GAAT is being introduced in India from 2014 by GenNxt Eduserve Foundation which also organizes the Inter School Olympics event since 2009, in which General Aptitude has been an integral part along with the other subjects, since the last 7 years.

Test Structure:

How to Prepare:

The best way to prepare students for GAAT is to encourage them to read and attempt questions available on various such sites and in many books. Participating students also get a book, with sample questions to guide them on the nature and difficulty level of the test for their particular grade.

Dates: 12th and 19th October 2015.

Benefits:

This test encourages students to apply their academic knowledge in real life situations through various problem solving methods and techniques. The students who participate in this test get an understanding of general aptitude and problem solving as a subject area, which is a necessary part of all competitive exams and a critical part of everyday life required for performing well in any area in life.

Certificates and Recognition :

You get scored individually on each area in the test and get a detailed report card listing your strengths and weaknesses. It is possible to perform well in some areas and poorly in others. Aptitude tests don’t result in a single score like IQ tests, but give individual scores for each section of the test. All participating students get a detailed ‘Report card’ and a ‘Participation certificate’ through GenNxt Eduserve Foundation and the International Association of Aptitude Testers. This is an important document and helps you through the years to evaluate how your score improves as you progress through your school years. Top scorers in all schools also get Scholarships, Recognition Certificates, Medals and Trophies, to appreciate their performance.
