“Tirupati Balaji Youth Empowerment Scholarship” has been introduced by Uttam Prakash Agarwal Foundation Trust (UPAFT) registered in Mumbai.

Scope
Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of Std. 12th results. The meritorious, poor or needy student will be awarded a scholarship for Graduate/Post Graduate study in a professional course, conducted by UPACA Gurukul, Uttam Prakash Agarwal College of Commerce and Economics and Uttam Prakash Agarwal College of Law respectively.
Eligibility
Category I – For Meritorious Students irrespective of financial status
Students securing a minimum of 90% marks in class 12th, pursuing regular course only from our Educational Institution and not availing of any other scholarship scheme, will be eligible for consideration under this category.
Category II – For Brilliant Students hailing from low income families
** Students securing a minimum of 75% marks in class 12th, pursuing regular course only from our Educational Institution and not availing of any other scholarship scheme, will be eligible for consideration under this category.
** Further, they should belong to the Low Income Families Group i.e. having an annual income of less than Rs.3,00,000/-.
** A student availing scholarship under category 1 will not be eligible for applying under category 2 as well.
** Applying for both or providing false/misleading information for availing scholarship under category 2 will lead to cancellation of application/scholarship.
** Names of eligible candidates will be displayed on our website www.upaca.edu.in and on the college Notice Board.
** They will then have to get in touch with Gurukul Office for further procedures.
Reservation
25% of total scholarships will be reserved for category 1 and 25% will be reserved for category 2.
Disclaimer:
It is to be noted that the Scholarship Scheme detailed herein is subject to change on the basis of decisions taken by UPAFT periodically. The decision of UPAFT in this regard shall be final and binding.
Selection Procedure
The students who are eligible for scholarship under any of the above Category will fill the prescribed form and submit required details as well as prescribed documents along with.
The Scholarship Committee will go through all the submissions received and be responsible for determining the number of students eligible for scholarship under both the Categories.
Important Notes:
** Scholarships apply only to those students who are ready to seek admission for a combined CA + Graduation + Hostel 3 year course.
** Scholarship will be awarded solely at the Management’s discretion and will be final and binding to all students.
** No queries whatsoever will be entertained in this regard.
** Complaints against the scholar regarding indiscipline (including bunking, ragging, arguing, violence, thieving, disfiguring/ destruction of property etc.) would be enquired into and lead to forfeiture of scholarship if found true.
** Along with this, the scholar will also have to refund the amount of scholarship paid till that particular date.
Amount
The amount of scholarship would be Rs.1000/- per month at Graduation level for next 2 years of College course. The scholarship paid would be for total 9 months in an academic year.
Payment :
Scholarship will be paid to the selected students directly by UPAFT into a Bank Account of UPACA Gurukul, Uttam Prakash Agarwal College of Commerce and Economics and Uttam Prakash Agarwal College of Law respectively.
Duration & Renewal
** A scholarship under the scheme is renewable from year to year for Graduate level in the same stream.
** The renewal will depend on promotion to the next class, provided the scholar secures 75% or more marks.
** For all other courses, the scholarship would be renewed upto a maximum of 2 years. It will also be subject to discipline* and a minimum 90% attendance by the scholar.
** If a scholar is unable to appear in the examination owing to illness and/or on account of any unforeseen event, the scholarship will be renewed for the next academic year on submission of a Medical Certificate issued only by a Registered Medical Practitioner.
** The same will be verified by UPAFT for genuineness.
** If a scholar gives up a chosen course of study before its completion or if he changes the course without the approval of UPAFT, the scholarship will stand cancelled automatically.
** A scholarship once cancelled will not be revived under any circumstances. Scholarship is not a legal right; it is purely intended for promotion of education amongst the deserving & willing boy students.
