DCE Karnataka Sanchi Honnamma Student Scholarship
This scholarship began in the year 2003-2004 for meritorious girl students so as to encourage them to pursue higher education. This is specifically meant for girl students who have scored high marks in II year PUC.

To avail this scholarship, students should complete their course in one attempt and only those students will be given this scholarship till the completion of their Graduate Course.
In the year 2013-2014, the government released Rs. 121 lakhs towards this scholarship. Out of this Rs. 60 lakhs was reserved under SCP/TSP plan for girls belonging to SC/ST category.

Sir C.V. Raman Student Scholarship
This scholarship was launched in the year 2001-2002. This scholarship focused on encouraging students studying in science stream. It is meant for talented and meritorious students who are pursuing their education in basic sciences in government and private aided degree colleges.
Terms & Conditions
The student should have passed with high marks in their II Year PUC examination.
While taking up B.Sc. course, they should have taken two subjects as basic science.
This scholarship shall be extended to the students who should have passed the semester examination in one attempt.
Every year the meritorious student shall receive a scholarship amount of Rs. 5000/-. In the year 2013-14 the government released Rs. 97 lakhs for this scholarship. Out of this, Rs. 39 lakhs was reserved under SCP/TSP plan for students belonging to the SC/ST category.
