Maulana Azad National Scholarship Scheme :

Applications are invited from the meritorious girl students belonging to Minority Communities i.e. Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Sikhs, Jains, Parsis studying in class XI and XII in Govt./Govt. Aided/Recognized Private schools in UT, Chandigarh for Maulana Azad National Scholarship to be awarded by the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Govt. of India.

Application Last Date : September 30th, 2015

Application form can be sent by the students directly to the Foundation by post or delivered by hand in the office of the Maulana Azad Education Foundation, New Delhi. Application form can be downloaded from the websiewww.maef.nic.in.

Objective Of The Scheme:

To recognize, promote and assist meritorious girl students belonging to National Minorities who cannot continue their education without financial support.

Purpose Of Scholarship:

Scholarship will be admissible for expenditure on payment of school/college fee, purchase of syllabus books, purchase of stationary/equipments required for the course and payment of Boarding/Lodgingcharges.

Conditions For The Scholarship:

1. Only girl students belonging to Minority Communities can apply for this scholarship.

2. She should have secured not less than 55% marks (in aggregate) in the Secondary School Certificate Exam conducted by any recognized centre/State Board of Secondary Education.

3. Family income of the student from all sources should be less than Rs.1.00 lac in the preceding financial year. Income from all sources must also be mentioned, especially if mother is also employed.

4. It is one time scholarship and no claim as permanent beneficiary will be entertained, student once selected for scholarship can not avail the same again.

5. A student getting a scholarship from any other source would not be eligible for the scholarship.
