Poverty is a burden that weighs heavily on the shoulders of little children. At SEESHA, we recognise the importance of timely and adequate financial aids. We also know that such aids will encourage more children to stay in school, reducing their chances of dropping out or becoming child labourers.

Deserving children and youth, hailing from financially-backward families and first-generation learners are encouraged by SEESHA through monthly scholarships that help them attend school.

How you can Help:
** Provide essential needs for a child; one month – Rs.750/-
** Sponsor the education of a child; one month – Rs.500/-
** Support one tuition centre; one month – Rs.10,000/-
** Support one computer centre; 1 month – Rs.10,000/-
** Donate one set of new clothes for one child – Rs.500/-
** Donate one school kit for one child – Rs.500/-

School Kit :
30,000 school kits are distributed to deserving children at the beginning of each academic year.

An initiative started in the year 2008 with 500 school kits, this project has grown incredibly over the years, to 30,000 school kits in the year 2016. Each year, SEESHA has been instrumental in sending an equivalent number of children to school.

Each school kit includes a school bag, a water bottle, a notebook, pens, pencils, and 14 stationery items. Such a school kit is much more than just a pack of essential items.; it is a powerful tool that boosts the self-confidence of children, gives them the motivation to go to school, and prevents them from dropping-out of school due to lack of resources their parents cannot afford. This, in turn, helps them to acquire an education which will assure them a better future.

School Enrichment :
Selected government schools are supported through donations for improved infrastructure, training of teachers, etc. to benefit the children studying in these schools.

Most of the children we support attend government-run schools in their own localities. In some cases, such schools are not equipped with suitable child-friendly conditions, necessary infrastructure or adequately trained staff. SEESHA offers support to such schools by supplying improved infrastructure, training teachers, etc. to benefit the children.

New Clothes Project :
Every year, SEESHA celebrates the Christmas and New Year season by gifting 100,000 new clothes to children from downtrodden communities, orphanages and disaster-hit regions.

Clothing is one of the most basic needs for mankind. When it comes to children, hailing from families where they cannot afford new clothes for festivals or birthdays or New Years, we see more than just a basic physical need; we see a socio-emotional longing.

For such children, their worn out, and sometimes torn clothes, embody them with a lack of confidence and drives them away from seizing opportunities that may bring them attention.

Every year, SEESHA seeks out 100,000 such children and presents them with a set of new clothes to help them face the world a little more confidently.
