Minorities & Backward Classes Welfare Department Govt. of Odisha invites Online application for award of Post-Matric and Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship for the year 2017-2018 to meritorious students of Odisha belonging to the notified Minority Communities those who are pursuing Technical/Professional courses at Under Graduate / Post Graduate level in recognised Universities/ Institutes /Colleges inside Odisha and other State of India.

During this year, the Online implementation of the scholarship Scheme will be done through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP) of the Govt. of India under URL www.scholarships.gov.in.
All eligible students are advised to fill up their application Online by accessing www.scholarships.gov.in and obtain a print out of the duly filled in application form after submitting it Online and send the same along with all supporting documents to the concerned Institutes where Studying.
Only Online applications under the scheme will be accepted and no request for accepting Offline applications will be entertained.
The students who have availed Post-Matric and Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship for the year 2016-2017 and not changed their course shall apply for RENEWAL Scholarship. Other applicants to apply for FESH Scholarship.
Applicants are advised to be very careful mention the accurate Bank Account related information in the specified box of the Online application. In case of any wrong entry or mismatch of the Saving Bank Account No., this department or College will not be held responsible for mis-credit/Non-credit or diversion of the scholarship.

1. Submission of Online applications for Fresh Scholarship by students 1st June to 31st August, 2017
2. Submission of Online applications for Renewal Scholarship by students 1st June to 31st July, 2017
Documents Required :
The following documents to be scanned & uploaded for both Fresh and Renewal Scholarships and same to be submitted along with scholarship application form by the student positively in the Principal Office before time line.
1.Student Photo. (Mandatory)
2.Institution Verification Form. (Mandatory)
3.Self declaration of Income Certificate by the student. (Mandatory)
4.Self declaration of community by the student. (Mandatory)
5.In case of Fresh: Self Attested Certificate of ‘Previous Academic Mark sheet as filled in Form. (Mandatory)
6.In case of Renewal: Self-Attested Certificate of Previous Year Mark sheet as filled in the Form. (Mandatory)
7.Fee Receipt of current course year. (Mandatory)
8.Proof of Bank Account in the name of student. (Mandatory)
9.Aadhaar Card (optional)
10.Residential Certificate. (Mandatory)
