CS Pre-matric scholarship to SC students reading classes IX & X :
The main objective of this scheme is to support parents of SC children for education of their wards studying in classes IX & X .
This scheme improve the participation of SC children in classes IX & X of the Pre-Matric stage so that they perform better and have a better chance of progressing to the Post-Matric stage of education.
How to Apply

2. Registered Students Click ‘Registered Students Login’ Link and Apply for the scholarship.
Fill the following details for Login,

Step 4 : Enter Captcha and Click Login button

Under this scheme, each eligible student whose parents /guardians income does not exceed Rs. two lakh p.a.
Scholarship Rate
Hosteller Day Scholar :
** Rs. 750/- p.m. for 10 months only (Rs. 350/- from GOI & Rs. 400/- by State Govt.)
** Rs. 150/- p.m. for 10 months only Adhoc Grant –Rs. 1000/- p.a. Adhoc Grant Rs. 750/- p.a.
This scheme has been implementing in our State from last financial year by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, GOI.

* Pre- Matric scholarship is provided to support SC/ST students studying in classes IX and X.
** This scholarship is applicable only for the students belonging to the state of West Bengal.
** The application forms are being issued from 23.06.2017.
** To apply online for this scholarship you can got to the West Bengal Backward Classes Welfare Department website as given in the post.
** Press the “APPLY NOW” button.
** Choose the district that you belong to.
** Fill the registration form.
2. How can I track the status of my scholarship application? Please let me know.
To track the application form use the below mentioned link :

** After reaching this web page select your concerned district
** Then you will be navigated to a new page.
** Now you have to enter your Application Serial No/User ID, choose the district name form you have applied for the scholarship and select the session.

I am a recipient of post matric scholarship. Last year I received the scholarship amount on August 1. But for the session 2016-17, I received no money till date.
