AICTE JK PMSSS Scholarship Scheme
Every year fresh scholarships were given to J&K Students to pursue undergraduate studies outside the State of Jammu & Kashmir for improving their skills by providing access to education.

Who Are Eligible?
** Students having domicile of Jammu & Kashmir.
** Passing 10+2 examination from J&K Board or CBSE located in J&K.
** Only those willing to study outside the State of J&K.
** Whose family Income is Rs. 6.00 Lakh or below per annum
Not Eligible, If :
** Not applied online through registration portal of AICTE.
** Studied through Open Universities.
** Benefitting from other scholarships schemes.
** Admitted through ‘Management Quota’.
** Studying in Diploma Courses.
** Studying in Post Graduate Courses.
** Family Income over Rs. 6 Lakh per annum.
** Admitted to institution other than identified under the scheme

Scholarship Amount
Payments are made as below
Academic Fee :
This includes fee related to education such as tuition fee, development fee, library fee, internet fee, training fee, university fee, examination fee etc. approved by State Fee Regulatory Committee except refundable deposits. This will be paid to the institutes directly.
Maintenance Charges :
Paid to students in two equal installments of Rs. 50,000/- each for hostel, mess charges, buying books and stationery.
Reservation :
** Reservation Policy of the State is applicable.
** Scholarship would be awarded strictly as per the Merit List.
Instructions
** Registration on AICTE Portal within the last date.
** After registration, username and password will be issued to students.
** Upload Domicile Certificate, Income certificate, Class 10 mark sheet and Category certificate etc.
** Student is required to give preference of General or Engineering or Medical stream.
** Display of Merit list of registered students on AICTE Portal.
Facilitation Centers :
** Facilitation Centres will be opened in J&K.
** The list of such Facilitation Centres will be uploaded on the website of AICTE.
** Applicants will visit nearest Facilitation Centre to get his / her uploaded documents verified with originals.
Admission Process
** AICTE will open counseling Centers at Jammu / Srinagar for actual admissions in the institutions identified under the scheme.
** Every candidate will have to be present for the Counseling.
** Student remaining absent will not be eligible for scholarship in any case.
** Allotment of seats will be made through counselling only.
** No change will be allowed after counselling is over under any circumstances.

My scholarship has not disbursed to me as all my batch mates have received the scholarship whose percentage is less than me as I have secured 86% marks. I have made so many representations but till date no positive response has received. I have taken the educational loan from bank. Kindly look into the matter and redress the grievance.

It is a huge discrimination that these J&K students are awarded with more than 1 Lakh even when they failed in first semester.
I am from Kashmir, studying (B.Sc NURSING) in AECS MARUTI COLLEGE OF NURSING KARNATAKA BANGALORE. I have uploaded all my details, and college also uploaded their details. But when I login the bank details are showing (no records found) and also I didn't get my scholarship. All my friends from different streams got their scholarship but I didn't get any. And the college told me to pay university registration fee of Rs.1050, Sports fee of rupees Rs.2400, lamp lightning fee of rupees 1000,and 5600Rs for some university admission and 100 rupees for internet charges. I payed 3300 for uniform and books also(books if i get them from college). So with due respect I want you to look into the matter, if something is wrong in uploading. Please contact to my college about this. I paid all this fee amount to college. Why do my college asking for money again and again?
