OEC Prematric Assistance :
As per this scheme, all OEC students are getting educational assistance without any income ceiling. At present, the scheme is being implemented by the Scheduled Caste Development Department through its field offices.

As per Govt Order G.O.(Rt) 10/2014/BCDD dated 23.05.2014, new 30 communities of OBCs are eligible for educational concessions as is given to OECs.

OEC Postmatric Assistance :
OEC students studying in post matric courses are eligible for annual lump sum grant of 350 to 2500 subject to the course of study.

They are also eligible to get monthly stipend subject to the distance from institution to residence at the rate of 500 and 600 having distance below and above 8kms respectively.

The students studying in approved hostels are eligible to get actual boarding and lodging charges and monthly pocket money @ 150.

At present, the scheme is implemented by SC Development Department through E Grantz system. The online applications can be registered through Akshaya Centres without any payment.

Advocate Grants for OBCs :
The scheme was started in 2012-13 for providing financial assistance to law graduates belong to OBC for first two year just after enrolment. The applicant should be practiced in various courts in the state. The annual family income ceiling of the scheme is Rs. 1,00,000/-. An amount of Rs. 7500/- per annum will be provided as grant for selected beneficiaries.

Educational Assistance under KPCR :
All students irrespective of caste/religion studying in Govt and Aided institutions and in Universities for Aided courses are eligible for financial assistance as detailed below. At present, these assistances are being implemented through E Grantz system. The online applications can be registered through Akshaya Centres without any payment.

Overseas Scholarship for OBCs :
The Scheme provides financial assistance to the finally selected candidates for pursuing Master level courses abroad in specified fields of study in Engineering, Management, Pure Sciences, Agricultural Science, and Medicine etc. The prescribed financial assistance is provided up to completion of the course/research or for three years.

Air charges from India to the nearest place to the educational institution and back to India, by economy class and shortest route in arrangements with the national carrier,Actual course fees, Maintenance allowance, Incidental journey allowance, Equipment allowance, Poll tax, Visa fees, Medical insurance premium subjectto 50% of total expense or a maximum of Rs 10 lakhs will be provided for a student for the entire course.

The annual income limit of the parents is `6 lakhs.
