Scholarships & Awards :

The Foundation has endowed four Awards and Scholarships for academic excellence in Delhi where Salil grew up.
1. An Award to the student scoring highest marks in the Annual Examination in the P. G. Diploma Course in Advertising and Marketing at the Sardar Patel College of Mass Communication, Bharathiya Vidya Bhawan.

2. Cash prize to the students who top in the Class X Public Examination in the Delhi Malayalee Community.

3. Cash Prize to the Toppers in the XII Class Public Examination in the disciplines of Science, Commerce and Humanities in the Delhi student community. These Awards are administered through the Delhi Malayalee Association.

4. Two Annual Scholarships to economically backward but academically outstanding students in the Kerala School, Canning Road, New Delhi. Monitored by the Kerala Education Society.

Financial support is given annually to a few bright students from the lower strata of society to enable them to complete studies upto Higher Secondary level.

Salil’s classmates in the ILS Law College Pune– (a premier Law Institution in existence since 1924) M. P. Sriram, Sumanto Basu, Jayaprakash Sen, Ram Prasad Unni and Raju Rao Ponugoti have established the ‘Salil Sivadas Memorial Scholarship’ from the Academic Year 2010-2011. The scholarship pays the tuition fee for five years to an academically meritorious but economically backward student.

About Us :

The Foundation, which has entered 15th year of its existence, has made considerable efforts to extend a hand to those in need, which is its primary aim.

The organization has to its credit a Public Library with books on variety of subjects in different languages and a Reading Room in the remote village of Ayyallur. Scholarships to deserving students, medical aid to hapless poor, demonstration lectures and awareness programs on health related issues, along with diagnosis and treatment facilities are some of the other activities that deserve mention.
