Note:
Only between 15 to 24th July 2015 Between 11.00 am and 4.00 pm all working
Instructions:
a. This scholarship is only for the residents of Chandigarh, Panchkula and Mohali.
b. The age of the applicant should not be less than 20 years and more than 35 years on 24.07. 2015.
c. Those engaged in full time employment are not eligible for the scholarship.
d. Whether employed part time (Yes or No) if so please give name and address of the present employer and place of work
e. Those who have already received scholarship from Chandigarh Lalit Kala Akademi will not be considered for awarding the scholarship. However those artists who have received scholarships from other places or institutions will be eligible for this scholarship. Those applicants, who are receiving any other scholarship and are continuing to receive any other scholarship from anywhere else till the time of cut-off date for applying for this scholarship i.e. 24.07. 2015, will not be eligible for applying for this scholarship.
f. An amount of Rs. 10,000/- per month on quarterly basis will be paid for one year under this scholarship scheme.
g. Short listed candidate will have to appear before an expert Committee along with their original works.
h. Decision of the expert committee will be final and binding.
i. An attested copy of birth- certificate (School leaving certificate) must be enclosed.
j. Candidates are to attach minimum six photographs of their art work (only in CD).
k. Original Certificate/testimonials MUST NOT BE SENT but produced at the time of interview.
l. Books/ Brochures/write–ups/press reviews etc. if sent with the application, will not be returned back (No request for return of any document sent with the application shall be entertained).
m. The applications filled in regional languages must be accompanied with English or Hindi Translation
n. If an awarded candidate is found to be ineligible for the scholarship at any later stage, the scholarship so awarded to him/her is liable to be cancelled and he/she will have to refund the money thus received with interest at bank rates. o. The selected scholars will be required to submit an undertaking on Stamp Paper of Rs. 50/- duly attested by Notary Public that they will not abandon the scholarship before its completion and that the information provided by them in the application form is correct. p. Signatures of the applicant along with date at the bottom of each page of the form are compulsory otherwise the form and the entry could be rejected.
