Andhra Pradesh Brahmin Welfare Corporation (ABC) Limited, a Government of Andhra Pradesh undertaking, is introducing “Bharati Scheme for education after Intermediate” (BS-EA12) for the poor Brahmin students in Andhra Pradesh.

Under this scheme, an amount of Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen thousand only) shall be paid to the selected applicants as one time financial assistance through the prescribed process.
Objective :
To encourage poor Brahmin students pursue education after Intermediate with one time financial assistance.
Scope :
This scheme is applicable for students of Andhra Pradesh covering all 13 districts, who passed their Intermediate examination in May 2015.
Eligibility:
** The student and his parents should belong to Brahmin community and reside in Andhra Pradesh.
** Annual income of Parents / Guardian should not be more than Rs. 2,50,000/- (Rupees Two lakhs Fifty thousand only).
** Should have appeared for Intermediate examination in any of the 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh in March 2015 and passed Intermediate Examination in May 2015
** Should have got admission in any Degree College in Andhra Pradesh.
** Should not have availed himself/ herself any amount under any other Government scheme for the same purpose.
Application Procedure :
** Notification shall be released for the scheme, by 1 July 2015
** Eligible candidates shall fill their application online (www.andhrabrahmin.org) in the prescribed format. (In case of any difficulty contact 040 24767879)
Applicant should upload the scanned copies (in pdf of minimum 50Kb & maximum 100Kb size each) of the following documents:
** Aadhar Cards of the student and parents / guardian.
** Caste certificate issued by competent authority
** Income Certificate issued by competent authority
** Marks Sheet of Intermediate Examinations.
** Copy of SB Account in Andhra Bank (account must be in the name of applicant).
** Passport size photograph (in jpeg format).
** Proof of admission into any Degree College in Andhra Pradesh.
Last date for receiving online application is 30-09-2015
Selection process :
Scrutinising, short-listing and finalisation of applicants shall be done by the State Level Committee (SLC), giving priority to the following categories:
** Orphan
** Single mother
** Physically challenged
** Girl student
** Economically very poor
One time financial assistance of Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen thousand only) will be credited online to the SB Accounts of selected applicants on or before 15 September 2015
Beneficiaries will not exceed 10% of total from any district as far as possible.
State Level Committee is authorised to make exceptions in the eligibility / selection process and their decision will be final.

I have backlogs first but after applying scholarship I cleared that subjects. Now I dont have any backlogs but my application was rejected when applying scholarship they didn’t mentioned that no backlogs should be there and they received your application also and we have uploaded all documents many times in net centers. They charged 50 per time and for Andhra bank account 500 and finally they rejected my application. This is not at all fair.

This is because I went through the preparation of EAMCET. The ANDHRA BRAHMIN ORGANIZATION asked me to upload my EAMCET hallticket, which I had lost. Please check my details and make a way to get the scholarship. Please send the details as soon as possible.

In notification you have mentioned that the students who are poor are eligible for the scholarship but you have not mentioned that who are only talented students are eligible. It is not rule that all are talented. Some students have less knowledge which are poor. My opinion is please don’t consider only talented for scholarship. Only talented students and who are not poor had get the scholarship. It is not really fare. I have dreamed more about my scholarship but due to the reason that I have one backlog in b.tech 3rd year 2nd sem your website replied me that you are not eligible for scholarship. Please just think about it. It is not rule all students should have talent.
