Students admitted to the first year of B.Tech 2018 batch are entitled for AMRITA VIDYANIDHI Scholarship based on their Amrita Entrance Examination-Engineering (AEEE) – 2018 rank.

Tuition fee waiver ranging from 90% to 25 % is awarded to the students, based on their rank at the time of admission counselling.

A total of 300+ candidates are eligible for scholarship at the time of admission and continuation of scholarship in subsequent years would require meeting the minimum required CGPA during subsequent years of study*

Admission

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham conducts entrance examination across the country annually for admission to B.Tech programmes offered at Amrita Schools of Engineering – Amritapuri, Bengaluru & Coimbatore.

Admission to B.Tech programme is only through Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering conducted every year. Examination is conducted in two modes: Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and Pen & Paper Based Test (P&P).

Eligible and interested candidates can register online/purchase OMR applications from designated post officies & Dhanalaxmi / Federal Bank branches.

Eligibility Requirements

Age :
Applicants whose date of birth, as per school records, falls on or after 1st July, 1997.

Educational Qualification :
A pass in 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent examination securing an aggregate of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with not less than 55% in each of these three subjects.

** Those who appear for the above examination in March/April 2018 and expect to secure minimum marks as above, may also apply.

Note :
CBT will be conducted in 3 time slots per day in multiple cities all over the Country.** P&P Test will be conducted from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM in all major cities in the states of Karnataka, Kerala and Tamilnadu.
