Follow the below procedure to avoid minimum balance condition in SBI bank account students availing scholarship

1. Take a print request letter format given below.
2. Fill the same & submit to your bank manager along with Xerox copy of your Passbook first page.

Pre Matric Scholarship :
Pre Matric Scholarship is awarded to students from the minority communities from class I to X.

Eligibility Conditions :
1. The student should have scored more than 50% marks in their previous Annual examination. (Not applicable for students studying in 1ststd)
2. Annual income of the students’ Parents / Guardians from all sources should not exceed Rs.1.0 Lakh.
3. Students of Karnataka domicile studying in other States are also eligible to apply in Karnataka.
4. Students of other states studying in Karnataka are not eligible to apply in Karnataka.

Post Matric Scholarship :
Post-Matric scholarship is awarded to students from the minority communities from class XI to Ph.D.

Eligibility Conditions :
1. The students should have scored 50% marks and above in their previous Semester (for semester wise courses) Previous year (for year wise courses)
2. Annual income of the students’ Parents/Guardians from all sources should not exceed Rs.2 Lakh for Post-Matric Scholarship.
3. Students pursuing correspondence education and certificate courses or trainings are not eligible.
4. Students of Karnataka domicile studying in other States are also eligible to apply in Karnataka.
5. Students of other States studying in Karnataka are not eligible to apply from Karnataka.

Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship :
Merit-Cum-Means scholarship is awarded to students from the minority communities to pursue professional and technical courses.

Eligibility Conditions :
1. The students should have scored 50% marks and above in their previous Semester (for semester wise courses) Previous year (for year wise courses)
2. Annual income of the students’ Parents/Guardians from all sources should not exceed Rs.2.5 Lakh for Merit Cum Means (MCM) & Top Class.
3. Students pursuing correspondence education and certificate courses or trainings are not eligible.
4. Students of Karnataka domicile studying in other States are also eligible to apply in Karnataka.
5. Students of other States studying in Karnataka are not eligible to apply from Karnataka.
