Post Matric Scholarship :
Applications are invited from students who are permanent residents in the state of Meghalaya studying within & outside the state of the year 2017-18.

Eligibility:
1. Students must be permanent resident of Meghalaya.
2. Income ceiling of parents shall not exceed Rs. 2.00 lakh per annum.
3. Minimum eligibility mark is 50%, secured in the last final examination of the Board/ University.
Conditions For Scholarship :
(i) Scholarship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and the annual income of whose parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs.2.00 lakh.
(ii) The award will be discontinued if a student fails to secure 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination. Scholarship will not be awarded for more than the normal period of time taken to obtain Certificate/Degree/M. Phil Degree/Doctorate Degree.
(iii) Scholarships will not be given to more than two students in a family.
(iv) The students should be regular in attendance for which the yardstick will be decided by the competent authority of the school/college/university.
(v) Migration of students from one Institution to another would not normally be allowed during the course of the academic year except under exceptional circumstances and in the interest of the student’s academic career
(vi) If a student violates any other term and condition of the scholarship, the scholarship may be suspended or cancelled. The State Government/Union Territory Administration can also directly cancel the award if duly satisfied of the reasons of violation of these regulations governing the scheme.
(vii) If a student is found to have obtained a scholarship by false statement/certificates, his/her scholarship will be cancelled forthwith and the amount of the scholarship paid shall be recovered, at the discretion of the concerned State Government/Union Territory Administration.
Renewal of Scholarship :
The scholarship, once awarded, may be renewed during the next academic year of the course on the production of certificate that the student has secured 50% marks in the examination.

** Submission of Online applications for Renewal scholarship by students – 1st June to 31st July, 2017
I don’t know why government is being delayed of issuing the scholarship, we have not got our scholarship, it is already a month of August & still we have not heard any news.
I don’t know what is our state government doing, all the other students of different states have got their scholarships except students from Meghalaya.
When will we receive our 2017 scholarship? I was hoping to buy a new books from that little bucks. But I have already completed my another semester again. What is our government doing? What the heck our MP Doing? What the hell the system is thinking?
Please reply, Is this applicable for every one those who have above 50 percent?
I would Like to know, when will I get my scholarship? I have been applying for the same since 2016 and I didn’t receive any till date.
All my friend were got their scholarship in the month of November and December of the year 2017 but, I have not get it till now.
I have not received any aid by Meghalaya government since class 11th till BA 5th semester.
Amount to be disbursed in a particular scheme should be noted.

What are the documents required to apply this scholarship?
I have been applied for renewal. I did not get any verification from institute or state. I did complaint to the institute and they said they already verified but my status is showing under institution verification process..
