As a part of our search for meritorious candidates across Chennai, we are conducting a “T.I.M.E. Talent Search Examination” (TTSE) at four venues in Chennai on 25th June 2017. The TTSE is open to students who wish to prepare for GATE 2019.
Based on performance, students writing this examination will become eligible for a certain amount of Scholarship on our GATE 2019 Full Course fee.
The topper in the TTSE will get a 100%* scholarship on our course fees. The test will contain multiple choice questions on Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation and Verbal Ability. The entire test procedure is expected to take approximately 1.5 hours.

CAT 2017 is scheduled to be conducted on 26th Nov as per the notification released by the IIMs on 30th Jul.
IIFT is a top ranked B-School in the country. IIFT conducts its own entrance exam to select students. As per the notification released by IIFT on 27th July, the IIFT entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted on 26th Nov.
Many students write other MBA entrance exams, along with the CAT, to improve their chances of getting into a good B-school. And this is known to everybody, including the B-Schools themselves.
With both the entrance exams scheduled for the same day, students are in a fix. It is the first time that such a clash of dates is happening.
For the last few years, CAT and the IIFT entrance exam are being held within a few days of each other. Students are surprised that in spite of this, there does not seem to have been any communication between the IIMs and IIFT about the dates of the exams this year. And hence, this clash of dates.
T.I.M.E., as the largest coaching organisation for CAT and other MBA entrance exams, has already written to the IIMs and IIFT urging them to resolve this issue as soon as possible in the interest of the students. This will help relieve thousands of students from the tension they may be undergoing on account of the clash of dates.
