FAQs :
Is Aadhaar card a mandatory document for J&K PMSSS scholarship?
Ans: Aadhaar card is not mandatory during online registration.
What format or size of photo and signature to upload in website for J&K PMSSS Scholarship?
Ans: Both photo & signature should be in JPG/JPEG format with Size <200kb for photo & <50 Kb for signature.
Is it necessary to submit separate online application for General & Engineering course?
Ans: Candidates are required to select “Both” option from the dropdown menu under “Stream applied for” field, if they want to apply for both General & Engineering Stream under J&K PMSSS while submitting online application.
I have filled & submitted my online application form. What should I do next?
Ans: Take printout of online filled application and visit your nearest facilitation centre along with original documents & one set of self attested photocopies (Xerox) of all original documents for document verification as or when the centres open.
I have submitted my online application for J&K PMSSS scholarship. Is it possible to edit my application?
Ans: Yes, Nodal Officer of facilitation centre can only edit subject to the production of original documents in support of your claim/request for editing.
To which facilitation centre should I go for document verification?
Ans: You can go to any one of the facilitation centres established by Govt. of J&K as per your convenience for document verification. (List of Facilitation Centres is available at aicte-india.org/jnkadmissions.php)
Is there any document I should collect from facilitation centre after document verification process?
Ans: Yes, you must collect document verification report from the facilitation centre without fail. You are required to produce the document verification report during counselling.
Is it necessary for me to submit original documents to the facilitation centre after the document verification?
Ans: No original documents are to be submitted to the facilitation centres.

I am from Kashmir district Baramulla. I have passed my 12th exam in 2015 and I had applied for AICTE in 2016 but the college that was given to me was not sufficient for me. I had cancelled my all the admissions at Kashmir. They asked me to apply for next year (i.e.2017) but the administration is not allowing me now. Please reply at my question.

I did not paid hostel fees of 4th semester due to which college is giving me warnings from time to time.
I was selected in B.Sc nursing in MM college of nursing Haryana. I joined there and upload my joining report through my login but after some days there was some personal problem in home. I bring all my documents from that college and fill a grievance form for the cancellation of my admission and the principal of that institution also fill that grievance through my login.
I took admission in Bhagat Singh Vishwa Vidyalaya Khanpur Sonepat. When will pmsss received by the college? They are asking me to deposit hostel and tuition fee at my own till the scholarship is released by the AICTE in their favor. However, my parents are able to pay such heavy amount.

I LIVE IN POONCH BORDER AREA AWAY FROM 250KM FROM JAMMU. ON 7TH OF JULY COUNSELING WAS HELD BUT WHEN I REACH THERE THEY POSTPONED. FURTHER I RECEIVED A MESSAGE ABOUT COUNSELING ON 18TH OF JULY. THEY TOLD ME ONLY RESERVED CATEGORY ARE INVITED LIKE ST/PH AND I WAS NOT FALLING IN THE FOLLOWING CATEGORIES THAT WAS MENTIONED ABOVE. BUT I WANT TO CONTINUE MY STUDIES AND MY FATHER INCOME IS 12000 PER ANNUM. SO KINDLY SUGGEST ME WHAT I CAN DO.

AICTE allot a seat for me in B.Sc nursing in Himachal Pradesh (Kol Valley institute of nursing). I joined the college and I uploaded the joining report on your website. But today I received a call from another institute in Rajasthan for nursing. They told me that they will give me seat in their college and I can change my college for which I was selected. They forced me to join their college and they also told me that their college is under AICTE and they will give me scholarship even if I change my college.
But after that I received a message from ACITE where they told that some some colleges are misguiding the students and they are promising to give admission without fee. I think the call that I received is also doing the same. They are fooling us. They are calling many students to join their college. So I request you to make a view in it as soon as possible.
Institute of technology Gopeshwar is 252km from Dehradun. For girl it’s impossible to have bus journey alone from Dehradun to Gopeshwar. Even college director has said as any type of mishaps will be at risk of students and it is not responsibility of institute.

I am eagerly waiting for change of my college if possible. Otherwise I will have to leave distance from Udhampur to Dehradun ie 550km. I can easily do but from Dehradun to Gopeshwar 252km single road and there is no hostel. Time to reach Gopeshwar by bus is taking 8 to 9 hours minimum. Please consider my request.
