Madarasa Application:

The Minority Department is implementing a new Scheme for award of Scholarship and Fee-Reimbursement for students of Madrasas under Modernization of Madrasas Scheme for the year 2016-17.

Under this Scheme the students are advised to download application form from Minority website: www.gokdom.kar.nic.in and submit the same alongwith the required documents as per the check list to the District Office Minorities of your District. The last date for submission of application is 31.03.2017.

Notes :
1) Candidate who have availed Scholarship benefit from any Government Department will not be eligible to apply.
2) Scholarship will be awarded for students who study courses i.e., Aalim, Fazil, Hafiz, Nazira, Moulvi and other equivalent courses.
3) Fee-Reimbursement will also be awarded to students studying SSLC, PUC, Graduation/Post- Graduation.

CHECKLIST OF ENCLOSURES : (PLEASE TICK THE DOCUMENTS)
1. Copy of Income certificate Self Declaration (Format enclosed with application)
2. Attested Copy of certificate issued by Madarasa
3. Attested Copy of SSLC markscard
4. Attested copy of PUC markscard
5. Scholarships/ grants received from any other agency/ institution (if any)
6. Applicants Bank Account, Pass Book Xerox copy with Account Number, IFSC Code and Bank Address
7. A Xerox copy of Aadhar Card
8. A copy of Caste certificate (Format enclosed with application)
9. School/College should be recognized by NIOS(National Institute of Open School) Enclose XEROX copy

DECLARATION :
I S/o /D/o/W/o _________________________ residing at the above given address have furnished the information and documents as per my academic qualification and certificates issued by the col lege/Madarasa authorities concerned.

They are true and correct to the best of my knowledge. I declared that I have not utilized this benefit earlier from any Government Department/s.

If I am selected for the above Scholarship to study Aalim, Fazil, Hafiz, Nazira, Moulvi and other equivalent courses I submit that I shall study and complete the course without break.

In case any of the information furnished by me and the documents enclosed are found to be incorrect or false, I shall be liable to be taken action against me as per the existing rules of the Government and Department.

NOTE :
Filled in applications must be sent to District office, Minority of respective Districts, On or before the last for submission of this application.

Kindly write “SCHOLARSHIP/FEE-REIMBURSEMENT FOR STUDENTS OF MADARASA UNDER MODERNAZATION OF MADARSA SCHEME 2016-17” on the Envelope before sending it to the District office, Minority. Applications submitted after the last date of submission will not be accepted and incomplete application will also be rejected.

About Karnataka Directorate of Minorities :
The Directorate of Minorities was carved out of Directorate of Backward Classes and created in the year 1999-2000 to ensure a more focus approach towards issues relating to the notified Minorities communities, namely Muslim, Christians, Jains, Buddhist, Sikhs and Parsis.
