Gurukul Open Scholarship :

Gurukul Open Scholarship is the only real life open scholarship scheme sponsored by Gurukul Foundation at the region of lower Assam area for the brilliant students with irrespective of cast,religion,language,tradition etc.

This is the first initiatives for all categories of students by the NGO named ”Gurukul Foundation”.

Eligibility Criteria :
Students should be in the 10th standard under SEBA,CBSE,ICSE or other state board.

How to Apply :
a) Fill up the Gurukul Open Scholarship Application form and paste two recent passport size photographs.
b) Application form can be available from your concern schools or institutions otherwise candidates are requested to download from our website given bellow gurukulghy.in
c) Application fee Rs.20/-(twenty) only should be submitted along with application form.
d) Submit the filled application form directly or by post or through concern institutes to the following address: Gurukul Jr. College,Barpeta,1st floor Haque Brothers’ Building,Above Hero Showroom,North Barpeta

Application Starts from: 05 Oct 2016
Last Date of Application Submission: 26 Oct 2016
Date of Examination: 29 & 30 Oct 2016
Result: 1st Week of March 2017.

Syllabus and Rank :
For Test A:Syllabus
General Science,General Mathematics and English of 10th Standard according to SEBA/CBSE or other state board. Maximum Number of questions will be 30.

For Test B: Syllabus
Assamese, Social Science and English of 10th Standard according to SEBA/CBSE or other state board. Maximum Number of questions will be 30.

All the questions are MCQ pattern (Multiple Choice Question) and will be compulsory, carried 2 (two)marks each.

Rank for Test A:
1st position: 12000/year (who secured highest marks)
2nd position:6000/year
3rd position: 3000/year
4th position: 1500/year
5th ,6th ,7th, 8th ,9th ,10th position: 1000/year

Rank for Test B:
1st position: 5000/year (who secured highest marks)
2nd position:3000/year
3rd position: 1500/year
4th position: 1000/year
5th ,6th ,7th, 8th ,9th ,10th position: 500/year

Minimum qualifying marks to avail scholarship: 60% of maximum marks allotted for the test.
Scholarship for Non-rank holder students:
1) Talent Certificate
2)Token of Talent
