Nirmaan Scholarship & Mentorship Programme :
Nirmaan Scholarship and Mentorship Program (NSMP) aims to provide monetary help and career guidance to the meritorious but financially constrained students to pursue their professional degrees.

NSMP is a part of Nirmaan. Nirmaan identifies the students on merit cum need basis for scholarships and provides financial assistance and mentorship to guide the students in the right direction to realize their dreams. Mentorship is done through workshops, career counseling sessions, and interaction with professionals in respective fields.

4. Regular updates of students’ progress to the donors
5. Skill building workshops to the scholars
NSMP Statistics:
NSMP now providing scholarship to 71 students rose from 8 scholarships when the program started in the year 2008.

NSMP Success Stories :
My humble background has always been a hurdle for me throughout my academic life. Even after some support from the government, I was constantly worried that the regular academic expenses (textbooks, exam fees), living expenses in a hostel would be a huge burden to my family. Fortunately, because of NSMP the past 2 years of my academic career has been hassle free and I have been able to concentrate on my studies.

After studying for 12 years in Telugu medium schools I was aspiring to take up engineering, but my father, a farmer by profession who is the sole bread earner for our family couldn’t support my education. With the help of NSMP I could continue my education in B.Sc. Agricultural Sciences and the support of the mentors has developed good interest in me and am planning to pursue higher studies and do a post-graduation. If not NSMP it would have been a very tough life for me and my family as both of us would have gone through a huge emotional turmoil.

I wanted to pursue my engineering after my 10+2 but I was reluctant to join due to financial constraints. My father expired, my elder sister was pursuing B.Sc and my mother, school teacher is the only bread earner in my family. I approached NIRMAAN and they provided me financial support for my 4 years of graduation.

I’m currently working as a database administrator and was a recipient of NSP for two years 2009-2011. I got a fee waiver from Govt. for my MCA degree but I couldn’t able to afford my hostel and mess fees. Nirmaan helped me during my tough times by providing scholarship.
